My Fridge Museum lets parents photograph their children’s drawings and crafts and keep them as a digital collection. Children’s artwork is personal, so the app is built on one rule: everything is processed on your iPhone, and we (the developer) never receive your photos or data. If you turn on iCloud Sync (an optional Full Version feature), artworks are kept in your own iCloud, visible only on devices signed in to your Apple Account. We can’t see them.

We don’t collect any personal data

• No account is needed. The app never asks for an email address, phone number, or any contact details.
• No ads, no tracking, no analytics. No data is sent to us or to any third party.
• Taking, editing, and saving artworks work without an internet connection. Only buying the Full Version (through the App Store) and iCloud Sync need one.

Data that stays on your device (and in your own iCloud)

The following is stored on this iPhone, and also in your own iCloud when iCloud Sync is on:

• The original and processed photos of each artwork, and each child’s avatar
• The children’s names (or nicknames) and birthdays, and the titles, tags, and notes you enter
• Voice notes and the text transcribed from them

Without iCloud Sync, deleting the app deletes this data. If iCloud Backup is on, it may be included in the device backup Apple keeps for you; that backup is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy, and we can’t access it.

iCloud Sync (Full Version, optional)

• When it’s on, artworks (original and processed photos, thumbnails, voice notes) and the children’s names, birthdays, avatars, titles, tags, and notes are stored through Apple’s CloudKit in the private database of your own iCloud account, so you can see them on any iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple keeps this data under its own privacy policy, and it uses your iCloud storage. We (the developer) can’t read it and never receive it.
• Personal sync is never shared with other Apple Accounts; to share artworks with family, use Family Museum below.
• You can turn it off in the app’s Settings at any time; it takes effect the next time you open the app. Turning sync off never deletes artworks on the phone.
• Please note: if you sign out of iCloud (or turn off iCloud for this app in the iPhone’s Settings) while the app is open with sync on, iOS removes the synced data from that phone, as Apple designed it. What was already uploaded is still in your iCloud and comes back when you sign in with the same account; artworks or changes not uploaded yet (for example, just taken or made offline) may be lost. For an extra copy, use “Save to Photos.”

Family Museum (optional)

• Full Version users can create a Family Museum and invite family members (with their own Apple Accounts) to view and organize artworks together.
• Family Museum artworks and children’s details (the same data as iCloud Sync above) are stored through Apple’s CloudKit in the private database of the creator’s iCloud account, using the creator’s iCloud storage, and are visible only to people the creator invited who accepted. We (the developer) can’t read them and never receive them.
• Members can leave at any time; the creator can remove members or stop sharing. When someone leaves or sharing stops, the app keeps a copy of the artworks on each phone.

Camera

Used only to photograph your child’s artwork. Photos are processed on the phone and never sent to us; with iCloud Sync on, artworks are kept in your own iCloud.

Photos

When you import from your library, the app reads only the photos you pick. “Save to Photos” adds artworks to the Photos app, only when you tap it. With full Photos access, the app creates an album for each child (“My Fridge Museum – name”); with add-only access, artworks go to Recents. The app never reads or uploads the rest of your library.

Microphone and speech recognition

The microphone is used only while you record a voice note. Recordings stay on this device (and in your own iCloud when iCloud Sync is on). Transcription uses the iPhone’s built-in on-device speech recognition and is never sent anywhere; on models that can’t transcribe offline, only the recording is kept. You can turn off microphone access in Settings at any time; everything else keeps working.

Sharing

Only when you tap “Share” does the app open the iPhone share sheet, and you choose where it goes. The app itself never sends artwork anywhere.

Children’s privacy

This app is for parents. Children don’t need, and can’t create, an account.
